4. Overlap the layers: Overlap the previous layer of tape by about 50% to ensure that there are no gaps or exposed threads.

5. Wrap 2-3 times: Usually, it's sufficient to wrap the tape around the threads 2-3 times. Too much tape can make it difficult to thread the parts together.

6. Tear the tape: When you reach the end of the threads, tear the tape from the roll and press it down to secure it in place.

7. Screw the fittings together: Now, you can screw the threaded fittings together. The Teflon tape provides a seal that prevents leaks from occurring at the threaded connections.

Teflon tape is commonly used for a variety of plumbing applications, such as connecting pipes, showerheads, faucets, and other threaded fittings.
